TapToWrap is a network of 1,412 professional wrappers, 214 mobile kiosks and courier benches across 38 cities. You give us a postcode, the size of the thing, and the hour it has to be ready. Someone with better hands than yours creases the paper, ties the ribbon, and hands it back looking deliberate.

The network

Every wrapper passes ID and right to work checks, supplies two references, and submits a test set we grade on crease, tension and finish. Studios keep their own paper libraries. We keep the standards, the slots, and the insurance.

How it works

Four taps, one handover, done by the hour you asked for.

No account until you pay. No subscription. The wrapper sees the shape and the deadline before they accept, so nobody promises what they cannot fold.

  1. A customer books a slot on a phone while walking past lit shop windows

    Tell us the postcode

Postcode, item size, wrap tier, slot. Four taps, no account until you pay. We show you the wrappers with that slot free, their rating, and the walk from where you are.

  2. A parcel passing from one pair of hands to another, sealed and labelled

    Hand it over

Drop it at a studio, walk up to a kiosk, or let a courier collect from your door inside a 30 minute window. Card is authorised, not charged.

  3. A wrapped parcel waiting on a lit doorstep, left exactly where the buyer asked

    It comes back finished

Creased, tied, tagged, and photographed on the bench before it leaves. Back to you, or straight to the person it is for, with the photo on the receipt.

I bought the present at four and it was wrapped, tagged and boxed by twenty past five. I looked like a person who plans things.

Questions

The eight we get asked most.

Anything else, call support. A person answers between 08:00 and 20:00, seven days.

+44 20 4525 8810

How fast is it, honestly?

The median across the whole network is 61 minutes from handover to finished wrap. Studio drop-off is usually quickest. Courier collection adds 20 to 40 minutes depending on your window. Bespoke tier work on awkward shapes can take two hours, and the wrapper tells you before you confirm.

My gift is an awkward shape. Can you still wrap it?

Yes. Cylinders, bikes, plants, framed art, and anything soft are routine. Choose the Bespoke tier and add a note about the shape. Anything over 15 kg or longer than 1.2 metres needs a quick call to support on +44 20 4525 8810.

Can a courier collect from me and deliver to the recipient?

That is the courier wrap option. A rider collects inside a 30 minute window, the wrapper finishes it on the bench, and the rider takes it to the recipient the same day. You get a photograph of the finished wrap before it leaves the studio.

How are wrappers vetted?

Identity and right to work checks, two references, and a graded test set scored on crease, tension and finish. Ratings under 4.6 across ten consecutive jobs trigger a review. The full standard is in the wrapper agreement.

What does the 12% service commission cover?

Payments, insurance to £500 per item, the booking platform, support seven days a week, and dispute handling. The wrapper keeps the rest and is paid every Tuesday. We publish the number because most marketplaces do not.

Can I cancel or move a slot?

Free up to four hours before your slot. Inside four hours a 50% fee applies, because the wrapper has already cut paper and held the bench. Moving a slot is free if the new slot is on the same day.

Is there anything you will not wrap?

Perishables, live animals, cash, firearms, anything illegal, and anything a courier cannot legally carry. Alcohol is fine for over 18s with ID at handover. The full list sits in the terms of service.

I run a wrapping studio. How do I get listed?

Apply with photographs of five finished wraps and your two references. Onboarding takes about four working days. Listing is free, you keep 88% of every booking, and a featured listing is £29 a month if you want top placement in your city.
